Quotient Testing gives an objective look at the core symptoms of AD/HD- hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention. The test was developed at a Harvard University affiliated hospital and compares the patient’s performance to a large pool of normal and AD/HD patients. This test has been cleared by the FDA for use in assisting doctors to make the diagnosis of AD/HD. Quotient testing takes about thirty minutes to complete and like Clinicom, the results are available right away.
QEEG is a quantitative measure of the patient’s brainwaves that can be compared to a large data base of patients with AD/HD and other conditions that may mimic AD/HD. Valuable insight can be gained from analysis of this data. QEEG takes about forty-five minutes to complete and results are usually available at the recheck visit.
