About Kelly Fountain

Originally from eastern North Carolina, Kelly Fountain, M.S., L.P.T., graduated Cum Laude from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Her honors thesis focused on domestic violence among college students. While at East Carolina she volunteered at a local crisis center. Kelly is a member of multiple honor societies including Psi Chi, Phi Kappa Phi, National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Order of Omega.

After spending a summer traveling abroad, Kelly moved to Mobile to pursue a Master of Science degree in applied psychology from the University of South Alabama. During her training, she saw children and adolescents for psychological testing and counseling. Since completing her Master’s degree, Kelly has provided counseling for youth in residential substance abuse treatment. Kelly joins FOCUS in order to concentrate on her passion—assessing and providing treatment information for children with attention, learning, and behavior problems. Kelly is a Licensed Psychological Technician and a member of the American Psychological Association.

Kelly is concerned about other community problems including domestic violence and child abuse and neglect. She currently volunteers as a Rape Advocate with the Rape Crisis Center. Kelly is married and has resided in Mobile, Alabama for four years.
