About Sally Teague

Sally Teague holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Louisiana State University Medical Center and a Master of Science degree in Community Counseling from University of South Alabama. She is a member of the Alabama Counseling Association.

With more than 15 years experience helping children, parents and families, Sally has worked as a therapist for a children’s inpatient treatment facility and served as a parenting instructor and director of a child abuse prevention center. With a specialty in helping parents manage their children’s behavior problems, she has developed and directed two successful community programs that emphasized strengthening parenting skills. In recognition of her work as a parenting expert, she has made numerous appearances on local television where she discussed appropriate parenting skills with the viewing audience.

For the past 5 years, she has been a school counselor and works directly with children, teachers and parents in dealing with behavioral, emotional, social and academic problems. Her focus in the school setting has been on bullying education and she has trained teachers and parents in the surrounding area on bullying prevention.
